Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity

Dr. Rabbitt has been a member of the student VOSH and now SD VOSH for 14 years. He has been on 5 mission trips to Gomez Palacio, in Durango Mexico. Each year in February members of the South Dakota VOSH head south for a week. Typically seeing about 2000 residents of that area and fitting them with recycled glasses that have been donated to the Lion’s Club. “Serving the less fortunate has been a very rewarding experience and we’ve made several close friends over the years” comments Dr. Rabbitt.
